This evaluation explores how one Comic Relief Grants Programme (Levelling the Field) has used partnership working to deliver ‘Sports for Change’ projects for women and girls. It describes how the partnerships were established and delivered and outlines the benefits, challenges and key lessons learnt. It is hoped that this evaluation will assist other organisations and funders to better understand the barriers and enablers to good partnership working through providing some key factors to consider in the development of these.

This independent evaluation explores the value, characteristics, processes and challenges of effective partnership working across the Sport for Change and women and girls sectors and the role Comic Relief has played in supporting this.

Key findings, which can be found at the bottom of the report, can be extended to similar partnerships in the sport sector and seek to advise other organisations on the best way to initiate and navigate partnerships.
