In May 2026 Trust for London published their latest in a series of analysis of changing deprivation in London.
Using IMD25 (Indices of Multiple Deprivation) they show where in London there have been the biggest changes in deprivation from 2019 to 2025.
They found:
- A growing North / South divide.
- 90% of the 617 neighbourhoods that are significantly more deprived are in North London.
- Barnet, Brent and Ealing feature prominently.
