This report presents an analysis of the association between culture, sport and measures of subjective wellbeing, looking at the perceived benefits for the individual using wellbeing valuation. It aims to identify the impacts of culture and sport engagement on individuals' wellbeing and estimate monetary values for those wellbeing impacts using the Wellbeing Valuation approach. The key findings are:

Arts engagement is associated with higher wellbeing, valued at £1,084 per person per year, or £90 per person per month.

Frequent library engagement is significantly associated with higher reported wellbeing, valued at £1,359 per person per month or £113 per person per month.

Sport participation was found to be associated with higher wellbeing, valued at £1,127 per person per year of £94 per person per month.
