This report by Women In Sport discusses the impact of a workplace culture that negatively impacts women. This covers topics such as discrimination, a negative workplace culture, and under-represented women in senior roles in the sector. Women In Sport found evidence demonstrating the clear gap between how men and women feel in the workplace.

The report promotes a change in workplace culture, starting from grassroots participation through to the Board- including the support of men. Graphs and statistics are included to showcase data on topics such as the differences in lived experiences for men and women and questions surrounding their organisation that help develop an understanding of the inequalities experienced at work. The report makes a series of recommendations to help positively change workplace culture to promote a more diverse workforce such as recognising key aspects of a failing culture at the workplace and suggesting new models, ways of working and structures to improve women’s chances of progression.
