It is recommended that: - Healthcare professionals start to record and measure the impact of brief interventions - Health Education England, employers and professional bodies should invest in training for HCPs in brief interventions - Individual healthcare professionals increase the number of public health priorities that they invest in - NHS England build recording of brief intervention activities into electronic records. Public health priorities are broken down into adult obesity, alcohol, smoking and tobacco, dementia, falls, mental wellbeing, child oral health, healthy beginnings, sexual health and physical activity.
