School Health Pulse have released the first in a series of episodes of a research-focused videos entitled Episode 1: What drives pupils to drop out of sport?

The first episode covers:

  • Confidence in their own ability
  • Relative age (age compared to others in their age group)
  • Competitive structures (such as rankings)

The series will continue with new episodes every two weeks, each covering different themes around physical activity, PE, and sport.
