This report provides insight into disabled people's lifestyles, interests and hobbies and tries to determine the extent to which sport and physical activity are part of their lives. It provides guidance on how to improve, adapt and develop sport and physical activity interventions to make them more relevant and appealing to disabled people. Key findings include:

- 70% of those surveyed said they want to do more physical activity;

- 64% would prefer activity to be integrated with non-disabled people, yet only 51% currently do so, highlighting discrepancy between preference and availability;

- 51% do not enjoy their experience of school sport, whereas 69% enjoy physical activity with friends outside of school;

- 60% believe lack of awareness of opportunities or lack of available opportunities prevents them from taking part in sport and physical activity.
