Active Lives Borough Update November 2016 - 2017

Created 6 months ago, updated 6 months ago

The latest Sport England Active Lives release for November 2016 to 2017 has been used to create physical activity profiles for each London Borough. Physical activity participation is broken down by gender, age, disability and socio-economic status.

Sport England’s Active Lives survey represents a new way of measuring the number of people taking part in physical activity and sport. Results can be used measure outcomes against Sport England’s ‘Towards an Active Nation’ strategy and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport’s ‘Sporting Future’ strategy.

This data will allow partners to make informed decisions in relation to physical activity and sport development across London, e.g. to support funding bids, implement strategies or allocate resources appropriately.

Where data is missing, this is due to a low sample size and therefore the data cannot be displayed.
